Dr. YeattsTalmadge "Midge" H. Yeatts, Jr., DVM graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Upon graduation, Dr. Yeatts joined Dr. Donahue's staff at Churchland Animal Clinic and began practicing small animal medicine. In November 1998, Dr. Donahue and Dr. Yeatts joined forces to open the North Suffolk Animal Clinic in the Bennett's Creek area of Suffolk. In January 1999, Dr. Donahue announced his retirement and Dr. Yeatts purchased Churchland Animal Clinic.

Dr. Yeatts enjoys spending time with his wife Susan and his children Lexie and Tal, III. He spends his time off at the beach with his family, gardening, traveling to see friends and family and attending sporting events.

Dr. Yeatts four-legged family includes Elsie Mae (female, black lab), Josie (female, black lab), Happy Dog (female, terrier mix), Scarlett (female, domestic short hair) and Goldie (female, domestic short hair).

Dr. Yeatts is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the American Animal Hospital Association and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association.
 
Dr. HamiltonDr. John W. Hamilton graduated from Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and joined the staff at Churchland Animal Clinic in September 2002. When he's not telling jokes at the clinic, Dr. Hamilton spends time with his wife and two sons. He also enjoys spending time outdoors and jogging. The Hamilton family shares their home with three dogs (Eclypse, Lexie and Donny) and their cat (Holly). Dr. Hamilton is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
 
Dr. MillerDr. E. Dee Miller graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002 and joined Churchland Animal Clinic in 2005. Dr. Miller and her husband Greg enjoy spending time with their niece, Ashlin, nephew, Cameron and grandchildren Miller and Madeline. When she's not busy hiking, biking, gardening or reading, you may find Dr. Miller playing with her Australian Cattle Dog, Redd or relaxing with her cats, Willow and Grace. Dr. Miller is a member of the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, American Veterinary Medication Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
 
Dr. RaySara H. Ray, DVM graduated from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. She joined Churchland Animal Clinic in July of 2005. Dr. Ray and her husband, Dave have a daughter, Alicia and a son, Jackson. When she's not busy healing pets, Dr. Ray enjoys reading novels, making stained glass, playing with her children and cooking. Her family pets include a 13 year old Labrador Retriever, Beanie and an 8 year old, domestic long haired cat, Oskar. Dr. ray enjoys dealing with challenging skin and eye cases. She says "There is nothing more satisfying to see than a pet's skin clear up after a chronic problem." Dr. Ray is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association and Virginia Veterinary Medical Association.
 
Dr. WassellRichard "Rick" Scott Wassell, DVM graduated from North Carolina State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. He joined the staff at Churchland Animal Clinic in 1991. Dr. Wassell spends his free time with his wife, Dianna and son, Scott. When he's not busy doing yard work, Dr. Wassell may be cuddled up with his cats, Smudge and Rastus or playing with his dog, Maggie. Dr. Wassell is a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church, the American Veterinary Medical Association, Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the American Animal Hospital Association.
 
Hospital ManagersCherish Foy, - Hospital Administrator joined our team in 2007 as the Hospital Administrator for both Churchland Animal Clinic and North Suffolk Animal Clinic. With over 5 years of veterinary management experience, Cherish brings her human resource knowledge and marketing expertise to both practices.

 
Jennifer Lieder, LVT - Medical and Technical Operations Manager is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and currently our Medical and Technical Operations Manager. She joined Churchland Animal Clinic in 1999 and manages the veterinary technicians and assistants and coordinates the medical and surgical care of our patients. Her team ensures that all patients enjoy a high standard of care whether they're here with us for wellness visits, surgery or medical care. Along with those duties, Jennie also makes sure our state of the art equipment is properly maintained and our computer system runs smoothly.
 
Sherry Brooks Jarvis - Client Services Manager joined our team in 2003 and is our Client Relations Manager. She and her staff of receptionists work to ensure that your experience on the phone, in the waiting room and during check out is pleasant and stress-free.
