Our wellness plans are designed to prevent a puppy or kitty from growing into a sick dog or sick cat. At Churchland Animal Clinic, our veterinarians in Portsmouth offer dog care and cat care services necessary to keep a pet healthy. We have designed plans that prevent some of the more common and harmful diseases that can affect pets. Our animal vet clinic has been providing dog care and cat care in the Portsmouth area since 1968. Our full-service Portsmouth veterinary hospital continues to grow and advance every day with the latest developments in the veterinary community.

With four veterinarians and several licensed vet technicians, our animal hospital staff is “committed to caring for your companions.” That pet care includes treating a sick dog or sick cat as well as preventative care. Prevention is the best veterinary service that we can offer to pets, for their health and your peace of mind.

Dog Care and Cat Care Wellness Plans in Our Portsmouth Animal Clinic

Bringing home a new pet involves more than just filling a food bowl and offering some water. Comprehensive wellness plans should also be part of the package. Our Portsmouth veterinary hospital offers plans specially designed for the new puppy or new kitten that provide the basic services and preventative measures a new pet needs with significant savings to the pet owner.

Our animal hospital offers two types of plans, either a 4-Visit or 3-Visit program designed specifically for proper dog care or cat care for a new puppy or kitten. The pet owner pays a flat fee for each visit in the plan while obtaining the necessary care that starts a new pet on the path to a wellness lifestyle. In order to avoid having a sick dog or sick cat, we recommend vaccinations and spay or neuter procedures for all pets.

Our puppy and kitten wellness plans include a series of core vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery and a microchip identification. On the final visit of the patient’s plan, the new pet owner receives a certificate redeemable for a spay or neuter surgery to be scheduled at the client’s convenience, as long as it is scheduled while the pet is 4 to 7 months old. The procedure covered by our plan includes a basic spay or neuter, IV catheter, antibiotic injections, pain injections and pain medication after surgery. The Home Again microchip is also placed during the surgery.

Our Puppy Wellness Program and Kitten Wellness Plan are free to join and can be canceled at any time. If a pet owner cancels, the treatments will simply be billed at our regular fees. Our programs are designed to make wellness pet care for a new puppy or kitten simple for pet owners. Our animal vet clinic knows the importance of an entire wellness lifestyle and encourages you to consider one of our wellness plans for your new pet. Wellness lifestyles for pets focus on the proper nutrition, diet, exercise and regular check ups.
